| Winter's at its end and the frost is beginning to disappear and the Kingdom is starting to show its magical color again. A new fresh green carpet is covering the land. Ive taken a foot through the Kingdom and have noticed new faces among the guild. What I will miss is that my dearest friend has decided to leave for an indefinite time. Though he did not indicate that he will ever return to Emperium, I still hope. His friendship and leadership as King and member of our guild will never be forgotten. Now its evitible that our guild has one King, but I wonder without Peter's leadership will those ever-so loyal to him will turn their loyalty to this member now King?, even more Prince Jack has lost his throne to a Knight. But I do not worry so much that this Knight is now my prince, becuz his heart is worthy of the throne. I wonder so much more if he is worthy of his princess. If he would honor my quest own my heart and not just to achieve the glory of owning it. Would he be loyal and honor me as his princess or take me as just a girl he is bethroned to. If he would love me forever or love his throne and knights more. Sigh...the guild's growth of members does do me some happiness it does not lessen my fear and worry of our Kingdom. The changes and the lost of our ways have weaken us. Yet members of the council have not questioned a single thought. Maybe they can not see the changes among us, or maybe they favor them. But my friend this not the matter I came to talk to you about. The issues of the guild will always worry us both, this I know. Though I know we have not come to talk much I do know our friendship is life long. The matter of my worry is my leave that I must take. I know that I have not come to you late but the time we have sat many of notes and you have comforted me with the silence for my mind and heart to clear. I do appreciate it all. Nearing the early months of Spring, the guild has gone weary of quest and gained so much boredom. How have you been my friend? I have been taken ill yet again. But not to worry so much about my health, let us embrace this new slumber of the kingdom. I have formed an Elite Knighthood and to be commanded by the Duke of Emperium. Sir Eric shall prove to be worthy of his new position. Though I have not yet seen much changes nor coming of knights. I have given him full command of it and have no say to how he chooses his knights. I do hope that he beckons knights soon. I have also taken my throne a bit more openly with a new title as well. Sigh .. The fresh new breeze blows into our Kingdom while the frost leaves us into a new year. I have decided that in a number of days there shall be quest given to those knights who wish to stay as members. If they take the quest then I shall know that they are loyal and shall remain EK. Those that do not I will have no choice but to dismember from the Guild. I know this is not like us at all but the Guild must take only those that are loyal. I have seen only members of few that honor the guild with such names but those that do not I take have no pride in what we have gained and grown to be. I wonder tho if the guild is of any bliss to them and their venture. The King has taken no interest to come and be one with his Kingdom, he remains in his chamber soaking in his lost of posessions. He bothers not to search of more treassures nor of quests and virtues. He lofts alone and allows the kingdom to be. Therefore I have decree that the King has until the New Moon to decide whether he is to be King or choose an heir to his throne. In 5 days time I shall give out 3 quests and those that honor me with them shall be be rewarded kindly. I will then choose 3 knights to be my Royal Guardians commanded by me alone. I shall also have a joust of 2 teams. No Knight of higher ranks of 91 shall compete. Those Knights that do shall earn as follows. The winner shall earn the highly knowledged Stone of Jordan, The second shall earn the Frost. The third shall be given a Valkarie Wing of +1 to skills. The remaining knights shall be given 1 50% poison charms of varies sizes. No Knight shall go unhonored for his effort. Sigh ... Now my friend what shall our 3 quest be?, I have not yet decided, and seems to me must be worthy of the prizes. We should take to others to do our bidding, though 2 heads are better then one, then many shall prove to be best of all. Sigh, what can interest these members whom have so much as it is now, the quest alone should venture them to do so but then members or not the greed of being better then another should prove itself alone. One request that I have, no knight competing shall use GF, WF, ARKAINES, and 1.08 STUFF, the list of items that are popular of duplication. Any Knight found cheating will not only be removed from the competion but shall also be removed from the Guild. This is by all means, against our Code of Honor. The last event we had had proved only that we were not as ready for an event as we thought. I found it amusing to be as such a day but impressing that our members were as strong as I hoped. Though, a peasant amazon took many of ears of our Noble Knights, they did not sit to wallow in their defeat. She did take many of our runes and those that have not yet been replaced.It did lesson us a bit. Now I feel it has come to boredoms right to try again. Let us hope this time with the event closed only to invitations only that our Noble Knights can be a bit more successful then the last. I received a letter from Clan inviting an alliance, I know your thoughts on this not as open as mine but change is good is it not? We have never honored such with another Guild and here we are asked to consider an alliance with a Clan, not something we would ever consider in the early years of our Emperium but let us review our foundations and why we have formed such bond; "friendship" ro accept this alliance will this not be in the same formation? Through learning and understanding weightr to consider this alliance I will have a member do my inquirying. Though the winds course has changed and now whistles to the East we are still forever friendship and with every new breath our friendship remains healthy.
