Home - Countries Visited - Cook Islands 1995

The Cook Islands are divided geographically into two groups - the Northern Cooks and the Southern Cooks. The Northern Cooks are comprised largely of uninhabited sandy mounts in the vast Pacific Ocean. But the island names like Suvarov and Penrhyn conjure up images in my mind of a Robinson Crusoe existence.... But they will have to stay in my imagination, for we sailed south and only visited the Southern Cook Islands of Aitutaki and Rarotonga.   New Zealand>>>
