Summary: Ryan lies to himself.

It's anger that fuels him.

He hears her groan, feeling nothing. He pushes deeper.

Anger at himself for feeling this, for loving like this.

He knows what he wants, knows he can do nothing.

Marissa shivers underneath him, murmuring his name.

Ryan hears nothing.

Closing his eyes, Ryan sees Seth, head cocked, lopsided smile on his lips. Ryan sees Seth chuckling, placing his hand on Ryan's shoulder.

Ryan's silent as he comes.

He lies on the bed, arm thrown over his eyes. He doesn't see her, doesn't feel her by his side. Instead, he sees brown eyes and hates himself.
