From Punta Arenas or Puerto Natales, it is an easy day trip to the Parque Nacional Torres del Paine, which provides the perfect introduction to Chilean Antarctica.

1- 5 November Puerto Natales

6 November Sail from Puerto Natales via the fjords to Puerto Monte (4 day voyage)(See on Map - lower right). Just South of Puerto Monte, we visited Castro on Isla del Chiloé

24 November Santiago to Cerro Tololo
