Sonia Roselli has been a makeup artist for over 10 years. Originally from Alabama, Sonia always loved makeup, but it wasn't until she started a career with AVEDA that she found she had a true talent . With the help of AVEDA'S intense training program, she soon became a regional cosmetic educator teaching cosmetic retailing and application techniques. She has worked and trained with some of the top makeup artists in the industry like Sonia Koshuk and Eugenia Weston. She has traveled to Italy and France several times to attend and educate in beauty & cosmetics shows.
After 5 years with Aveda, Sonia began a freelancing career working for cosmetic lines like Senna, Bobbi Brown, Lancome, Lorac, Tigi, and Clarins. Today, she is currently working with Chicago photographers and promoting Theoria Cosmetic Services. Sonia and her partner Elizabeth, are also working with some of the industy's top chemists to create their own line of cosmetics. Theoria Cosmetics will offer a beautiful color selection, yet still look very natural and pretty. Sonia and Elizabeth have taken their knowledge of all the lines they have worked with and combined them into one. Theoria Cosmetics should be completed by fall 2001 and sold in upscale salons and day spas soon after that.
Sonia lives in Chicago with her boyfriend Stefano and her yellow lab Finster.
