This is supposed to be the page where I write a bunch of interesting information about myself. Lacking that, I'm just going to bore you with a few short stories.
I took piano lessons in grade school, so I guess you could say I started in percussion. I then began taking guitar lessons briefly late high school/early college. Today, I still play a little piano and enjoy playing the guitar.
In the late 90's, I was looking for something new to learn and went to a local music store and inquired about drum lessons. I came out with a practice pad, sticks and music lessons. I had a fantastic teacher and learned several different styles. I took lessons for about 3 years and learned a great deal.
I've auditioned for a few different bands over the years, but never found the right fit. A friend led me to The Other Side. This was the band I had been looking for, and the experience has been great. I've been with The Other Side since May 2005 and have enjoyed every minute.
I want to thank my wife and kids for putting up with the late night Thursday practices and supporting my musical dream. I also want to thank my entire family for coming out to hear us play.
Here are some links to things I find interesting. Thanks for visiting.
Neckbone Graphics - This is the company that made my bass drum head. They do very nice work.
