behind the story: the crying quartet

One day I was sitting around, trying to think of a new Hanfic to write. At the time, I'd never read a story where one of the brothers died. I started thinking, what if Taylor died?

And thus the story was born.

Jade began to appear before my eyes, a girl who's seen so much heartbreak in her life, Taylor's death pushes her into a depression no one thinks she'll emerge from.

The story wrote itself. I knew no more about what was going to happen then the readers. I tried to use flashbacks to tell the story, to explain why things were happening. It showed the readers as well as myself why Jade was so messed up.

Then I got the idea for sequels. I have this thing, I can't let my stories end until everyone is happy and has fallen in love. So the next stories deal with tying up those loose ends. The second sequel deals with Jade's brother Nick, the third with Zac, and the fourth will deal with Mac.

Oh! And about the poem that I take the titles from: It was a song I'd written several years ago, that always seems to explain how I feel when I'm crying. I've never been able to write more. No other verse seems to fit. Those four lines say it all.

However, four stories probably won't be enough. I already have plans to write a fifth story when I finish the quartet. It will be about Isaac and Jade's daughter. And you never know, if I hear enough encouraging words about that, I might even continue with everyone else's children. Its up to you.
