His mercy and redemption flow more in answer to our longing for forgiveness. This is a gift from Almighty God, to enable us to be forgiven even the most terrible sins and crimes, for God can see into each mans heart and discern if true repentance or just lip service are there.
Think of Mary Magdalene who was like a disobedient and defiant child and yet through his great grace and his Son’s great sacrifice she listened to Jesus and was saved. She was forgiven much because she repented much and in turn she loved so much and became beloved. God completely turned her miserable life around.
He asks us to open ourselves and receive his life blood and enable us to have new life as she did.
