I was placed in 1Z During the first one week I was told I had been erronous placed in that class and I had to move to another class 1G .
In 1G I was to do commerce instead of accounts and I would do metalwork instead of woodwork. My father wanted me to do accounts but there was nothing I would do. Kudakwashe told me that I could start doing accounts at O LEVEL as he had done I kept his words and vowed to do accounts at O level.
My favourites subjects were science ,geography , commerce and history.
During our third term new prefects were chosen. These new prefects tried to impress so that they will be chosen to be headboys or Heagirl so our class prefect used to sent us to punishment. Our monitors would write a list of 20 people and sent them to punishment I was was always among the punished every day. Then day 27 were sent to punishment I convinced them that this was not health for ourselves and we were not to used in order for some people to achieve thei r endeavours.I articulated very well on the need of change . There was uinanimous agreed that we would convince the teacher on the need for us to have democratic elections since origanally the monitor were not democratically elected.
I do no know were I went wrong when was very good at articulating during my days at St Marys but I can no longer do the same now.I do not know were I lost this quality
That day we convinced the teacher and elections were held that day.I was elected deputy monitor but I had more influence than the monitor. It is during this period I discovered that I was a constitunal democratic leader. This kind of leadership entails that you agree on a thing in a discussion and do exactly as you have agreed without deviations. At st marys I joined the debate club and the Scripulture Union. I was elected committee member pof the club.
I was very outspoken and in articulating issues. In my class I was on top.
I was good at athletics and I would represent my house but I would not contest in inter-schools competition because they were held on saturday which God's Sabbath . As aborn again christian I would not break my God's Sabbath.
In form two I was elected monitor I continued with the good work thrrough my leadership my class was the best class and was emulated by all the classes. In form third term I was number 2.

During the Zjc holiday I went to our rural home in Nyazura with accounts books. I read what had been done in two years in two months. I would go to herd cattle with the books and reading them when others were playing soccer and attering words to discourage me but I did give up hope. When you want to achieve you have to strive and to give deaf ear to some people.
In form three I was placed in the first class.I had to do accounts which I had always wanted to do.But when do something which is not obvious someone would love to block you.
The deputy headmaster tried to block me and I appealed to the headmaster Mr Chogugudza.Who permitted me do my endevours.I had to do ten subjects.
I was elected Chairman of the Debate Club .Project Manager Commercial Club,A member of the Quiz Club. The debate I will remember most is the one which was held at Nyatsime College intitled "Expelling both the pregnant girl and the boy responsible was unfair" With this club we went to Harare High,Nyatsime, Seke High
