Due
to a busy work schedule I was only able to exhibit two weekends; The Pekingese
Club of America in February and The Pekingese Club of New Jersey. At PCA Ch.
Yakee Miss Appropriate was Best of Opposite and Award of Merit and BOS all
three days. Ch. Pleiku Charlene Gable won a 5-point major to finish Best
of Winners and Award of Merit. At the PCNJ my new English import Ch. Yakee
Forward Step At Pleiku (David) made his debut in July and won Best in Sweeps
and Best of Breed over top ranked specials and repeated the wins the following
day at the supported entry show. Forward Step went home with David Fitzpatrick
and finished in two weekends. My latest show puppy started his career at just
one year Pleiku Classic Gold with David Fitzpatrick and won 3 majors his
first weekend out. Ch. Kushan Gold Ransom of Pekehuis has established
himself as a top sire and has qualified for the PCA’s Sire of Distinction Award.
Ch. Pekehuis Pleiku Gold (Winnie) produced a lovely liter by George.
Pekehuis Gold Exchange Of Pekehuis (Bea) came over in whelp to Ch.
Tenling Golden Arrow of Pekehuis and produced a beautiful litter of 1m 3f.
