mario and luigi, the well known brothers from the hit gaming system called ‘nintendo’ (the gaming system which i think too many of us have forgotten in this world of x-boxes and stations of play), have earned my praise and worship once again. can you recall how wonderful it was to control mario or luigi? warping to different levels by riding the pipes? jumping your highest to obtain the flag at the top of the flagpole? do you remember these sweet days of nintendo? jumping to pound your enemy into the ground from whence he came? you haven’t forgotten the most amazing villain in gaming history, king bowser koopa, and his evil doers of turtles and ghosts? do you remember the little green yoshi? you have not forgotten princess peach? do you remember princess daisy from the first mario game boy game? collecting coins for the heck of it? and of course the most memorable moments of mario come from the incredible music which accompanies you through your journey of jumping, growing large, collecting coins, and rescuing princess.
