Munkustrap is the 'Protector of the Kittens', as well as the Junkyard storyteller. He narrates the stories of traditions and such to the younger kits that haven't been the the Ball before. He also protects the Junkyard from attacks made by Macavity. He is a grey tabby with black stripes, and is probably owned by someone, seeing as he has a collar. He is good friends with Alonzo, and may be the brother of Rum Tum Tugger (oooh, the irony!). He is mates with Demeter in some productions, and protects her from Macavity.
