NEWS Pokemon RUBY and SAPPHIRE are almost among us! ...and this is the info we got so far! We've heard from a very reliable -though not official- source, that the new Pokemon will definitely be 100. Having already released it in Japan, Nintendo has scheduled the release of these new games for March 17th, 2003, though we've heard it might be earlier. Apparently, the reason they are called Ruby and Sapphire is because those are the names of the two new bad guy teams that you have to beat in each game.Both the Sapphire and Ruby teams want all the Legendary Pokemon and its up to you to stop 'em! *crackle* . . *~*~HOT!!!~*~* . . *sizzle* In a recent issue of Coro-Coro Magazine, they've reported that you'll be able to make a cave with one of your Pokemon and create your own secret base!!!! Hope that's true! You would also be able to visit your friend's cave using the link cable! These are the three starter Pokemon, Mudskip, Torchic and Treeko:

You'll still be able
to choose between a boy or a girl trainer. Also, two-against-two
battles will be allowed, though we don't know much about 'em yet.
Still, you can see it in the screenshots. The graphics are
marvelous and if one of these shots is not blurred or something,
apparently it even rains! Wouldn't THAT be cool! Cqaves are now
covered in mist and you can also walk in puddles, and leave
footprints on the sand!
