Guide
The Thin Line Emotions reach a fever pitch as Bobby (Dylan
McDermott) stands trial for his alleged complicity in the
slaying of William Hinks, the serial killer who was stalking
Lindsay. The prosecution's case rests on the testimony of a goon
named Neel (Jeremy Roberts), a former client of the firm
who actually killed Hinks — on Bobby's instructions to
"take care of him." Bobby only meant to scare Hinks,
but Eugene (Steve Harris) is troubled: on a felony-murder
count, "all they have to prove is that you sent [Neel to
Hink's place] to break in." Bobby, too, is worried. As he
tells Lindsay, "the line between my innocence and guilt is
a thin one. And I probably crossed it."
