Savor the flavor on the Ale Trail. Six craft breweries in Guelph, Waterloo, and Elora invite you to discover the incredible flavors of craft brewed beer on the open house weekends. Tour the breweries, learn about the brewing process, meet the brew masters and sample the beer. The Ale Trail boasts more than 60 labels of beer, from refreshing pilsners to robust porters; from delicate wheat beers to smooth cream ales. A trip along the Ale Trail introduces you to beer making traditions and innovations that have produced sensational and unique products. Start your tour at any one of the six participating breweries. Stay the weekend at one of the partner hotels or bed and breakfasts and visit all six breweries. Enjoy everything that Waterloo-Wellington has to offer and dine at one of the Ale Trail partner pubs or restaurants. Make sure you purchase an Ale Trail Sampling Passport for $2. The Passport includes coupons from participating partner pubs and hotels, recipes for cooking with beer, historical and trivia information about beer and the brewing process and a map of the Ale Trail.
