The Golden Kiwi Pub

For entertainment, the Kiwi Pub has Traditional Folk Music Sessions alternate Sundays from 4:00 p.m.  The following are a listing of the remaining dates for the 2000 season:

Special Brew

One of the interesting beers that the Kiwi Pub serves is Neustadt Lale.  This beer is of premium quality, hand crafted in small batches, brewed in the traditional English/European style.  It is fully flavoured, smooth and has plenty of body.

The Crystal Springs Brewery is located in Neustadt, Ontario which is found on Gray County Road 10.  It is reputed to be the oldest operating brewery building in Ontario.  Home to the original Crystal Springs, this famous spring and brewery was used by the founder and owner Henry Heuther in 1859 to brew his renowned Heuther Pilfner Bier.

The spring flows in the caverns beneath the brewery and is used solely in the production of the beer.  They use only the finest imported malt, hops and yeast and brew strictly in accordance with the Bavarian Purity Laws of 1516.  Thus, there are no additives or preservatives in the beer.

Definitely a unique beer.  Give it a try when you visit The Golden Kiwi Pub.
