Blue - Color should be a rich, dark, slate blue, with as much depth of color as possible. The uniform blue color needs to cover the entire body, feet, legs, head, ears, belly, and tail. Eyes are to be blue-gray.

     Faults: Stray white hairs.
     Disqualifications: Patches of white, sandy, rust, or any other foreign colored hair. Uneven color on body, legs, or loin; color showing silver-gray tint.
