Blue Tortoise Shell - The body color should be fawn, blending into a blue shading over the lower rump, and carrying well onto the haunches. The top color must carry well down into the undercolor, blending into a cream next to the skin. The belly should match shadings, with cream undercolor. Head shadings must be darkest blue at the whisker bed, blending into a lighter shade along the jawline, darkening again at the ear base, and blending up the ears with the body color. Eyes are to be blue-gray.

     Faults: Stray white hairs; faded shading.
     Disqualifications: White belly or underside of tail.
