Chinchilla - The color will be alternating bands of medium slate and pearl with black tipped guard hairs. The ears should be laced with black. Eye circles need to be well defined, narrow, and light pearl in color. The underside of the tail and belly must be white, with the top of the tail interspersed with white hairs. Eyes are to be brown or blue-gray.

     Faults: Indistinct ring color; sides lighter than body; brownish tinge on surface; shadow bars on feet.
     Disqualifications: Extremely dark or light color; brown patches of color; extreme brownish ring color; no black lacing on ears.
