Australia
Australia has some of the most diverse dive location in the world and this site tries to give you detailed information about a large number of those locations. Australian scuba diving can be done in such amazing locations as the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland, to giant kelp forests in the cold waters of Tasmania. We have some of the best wreck dives in the world as well as action packed shark cage diving amongst the Great White Sharks of South Australia. Australian scuba diving has something for everybody, no matter what certification level they may be, from Open Water right through to deep Trimix and cave diving.

Western Australia

Greenup Wreck

This site is a great wreck dive for beginners, especially when you pick the right day as visibility can vary greatly from 2m to 10m.  Visibility is the best after a few days of Easterly winds and low swells, i.e. in the middle of summer.  But even if the visibility is not that great, there is still a lot to see. For example the large resident cuttlefish, juvenile crayfish, bottom feeding goatfish, and the usual schools of bullseyes, yellowtail and talma, to mention a few.

As far as the wreck goes, it is very open and easy to navigate. Note there is one area on the Eastern side of the wreck which can be penetrated.  This area is quite cramped and hence caution and common sense should prevail if you decide to enter.
