A graceful gray dragon, hovering protectivelyOcelot over a small clutch of eggs, nods as you enter. You smile at him and bow deeply. "What lovely children you have" you say politely as the draconic equivalent of a smile creeps across the gray's face. "I'm afraid these aren't my children" he replies in a deep, rich voice. "This is a wild clutch. Found only a week ago. I'm only their caretaker" You nod sheepishly. "Let me introduce myself." the dragon offers, breaking the uncomfortable silence. "I am Ocelot, bonded to Nest Keeper Reisaon." He points a gray claw towards the other side of the cavern, where a young man stands, his back towards you.

"Rei, we have a visitor" Ocelot announces quietly to the man who turns around, a broad smile on his tanned face as he approaches you. "Here, I expect you'll be needing this" he says, and hands you a long roll of hide.
 

The Rules for All Hopeful Bonders
1) You must have a web page. It must be rated PG-13 or under. I don't want to see anything offensive!
2) You must have a link back to my site somewhere on yours. After all, this is free, it's the least you could do!

3) Do not distribute or change the dragons in any way without my permission. 
4) You may only submit 2 Hopeful Bonders per clutch. 
5) Please fill out an application form for each dragon you wish to adopt. You may adopt as many as five, if they are all from separate clutches. 
6)YOU MUST JOIN THE MAILING LIST! If you don't join, you will NOT receive a dragon. 
7) You do not get to choose which egg you receive! For lower-ranking dragons, it is completely random - you choose a number, you get the egg that corresponds to that number! For browns, greys, and whites, however, it is different - those dragons are given out only to those I find best suited to the job of caring for them (meaning that a person with a nice-looking page with an awesome story on the page has a higher chance of getting a high-ranked egg then someone with a bad page and little or no story). Under special circumstances, however, higher ranking eggs may be given out at random.
8) If there are over 10 eggs in a clutch then you may send in 3 hopeful bonders, but you MUST have a seperate page for each candidate you send in.

 
Dragon Colors, Personalities, and
Magic Talents

White - Most are female. Strong and powerful. The rulers of the the dragons. Females are telepathic and only lay one large clutch of eggs a year.Females mate only with Grays. Males can breathe fire and only mate with Browns. 

Gray - All are male. Aggressive and territorial. Each one can transform into another animal, which is different for each one. They mate only with Whites. 

Green - Can be male or female. Males are very small and can teleport. Males mate only with Purples or Blues. Females tend to be moody and have healing magic. Females mate with Reds. 

Red - Most are male. Males are large. Males have no magic, but are the strongest fighters of the dragons. Males only mate with Greens. Females are very small and have the ability to predict the future. Female Reds cannot produce eggs. 

Purple - All are female. They are often very silly and flirtatious. They can change the weather and mate with Greens and Blues. 

Blue - Can be male or female. Males are quiet and thoughtful and can fly faster than light. Males mate with Purples. Females are very intelligent and can figure out any problem. Females mate with Greens. 

Brown - All female. Browns are very, very rare. They are intelligent and love to laugh. They have the ability to travel through time. Browns mate only with male Whites and can only lay eggs once every five years.

 

Your reading done, you hand the sheet back to Reisaon who beams approvingly. "Not too difficult for you to handle, I hope?" he asks jokingly. You shake your head. "Splendid. Now all you have to do is apply for an egg. Here's the information you'll need"
