Feed My Lambs
School Lunch Program

One school lunch of rice and beans for 1,200 students costs only $200.00 a day. Yet the Eben-Ezer School is only able to provide lunch for its students once or twice a week. The goal of the "Feed My Lambs" project is to provide students lunch every school day.

God is making this a reality by placing the desire of individuals, families, Sunday school classes, churches, youth groups, etc., to pledge one full or partial days funding per month to guarantee food for the school children during the school year. We could not imagine sending our kids to school without getting a meal for lunch. For these children, it may be the only meals they receive all week! On the way to class most of the children walk past the outdoor "kitchen" to see if the fires are burning that day. If so, they know that they will get at least a bowl of rice and beans, and, if lucky, a scrap of meat on top.
