(Lt. Teeg)
While testing a theory in his experimental space vehicle, Farscape
One, astronaut John Crichton is thrust through a wormhole in space and finds himself
in the middle of a raging battle on the other side of the Universe. After accidentally
causing another one-man ship's destruction, he is brought aboard Moya, a living ship
serving as a Peacekeeper prison transport. Moya's escaped prisoners, Pa'u Zotoh Zhaan,
Ka D'Argo and Dominar Rygel XVI, have taken command of the ship and StarBurst away
from Captain Crais and his Command Carrier. One Peacekeeper Prowler is drawn with
Moya through StarBurst and its pilot, Officer Aeryn Sun, is imprisoned on Moya with
Crichton. Crichton helps Aeryn escape from captivity on Moya, and the two find their
way to a nearby planet where Officer Sun awaits her commanding officer, Captain Crais.
D'Argo lands to retrieve Crichton and Aeryn, but Crais arrives and accuses Crichton
of killing his brother Tauvo, the pilot of the one-man craft Crichton scraped when
he first arrived. When Officer Sun tries to defend Crichton, Crais deems her "Irreversibly
Contaminated" and orders Crichton, D'Argo and Aeryn imprisoned. The three managed
to escape and find their way back to Moya. Unable to StarBurst, Moya is a sitting
duck as Crais aims his PK frag cannons at the defenseless Leviathan. With microts
to spare, Crichton puts his theory to the test. With Aeryn Sun at the helm, Moya
uses the planet's gravitational pull to increase her velocity and escapes from Crais'
carrier, thus heading farther into the Uncharted Territories.

Directed by: Pino Amenta
Guest Cast: Mary Mara (Lyneea), Cayde Tasker (Fostro), Boris Brkic (Commander Ryymax)
When a Peacekeeper tracking beacon is activated, Moya lands on the Earth-like planet
Denea and submerges in a muddy bog to muffle the device's transmissions. Rygel is
assigned to cut Moya's tendrills free of the beacon while Crichton, Aeryn and D'Argo
leave the ship in search of Clorium, a substance that will numb the intense paid
caused by removing the PK beacon from Moya. As he searches for Clorium on the planet's
surface, Crichton is discovered by a young boy, Fostro, and his mother, Lyneea. After
Crichton convinces them of his peaceful intentions, they supply him with Clorium,
but before he can return to Moya, the military arrives at Lyneea's farm - holding
D'Argo in captivity. Young Fostro helps Crichton free D'Argo and they return to Moya
with the Clorium. Thanks to Zhaan's ability to share pain, Rygel has managed to complete
the removal of the Paddac Beacon. Her pain relieved by the Clorium, Moya launches
back into space.
1.3 Exodus from Genesis
Written by: Ro Hume
Directed by: Brian Henson
Guest Cast: Damian
de Montemas (Melkor), Jodie Dry (Kyona)
Moya becomes infested by Draks -
giant space cockroaches intent on using the ship as a nest for their young. Higher
temperatures aboard the ship cause Aeryn to suffer from Sebacean Heat Delirium. All
attempts to bring the temperature to optimum levels fail and the Draks begin to create
identical "replicants" of Moya's crew to defend their nest. The Queen Drak
channels herself through Zhann and Crichton is able to communicate with her. An agreement
is reached - to allow the Draks to complete the gestation period aboard Moya. While
Moya's crew cares for ailing Aeryn in their quarters -- an area of the ship the Draks
have agreed to keep habitable -- a Peacekeeper Marauder commando team lands on the
ship. The arrival of the PK commandos leads the drak Queen to believe she has been
betrayed. As she increases the ship's temperature, Rygel is sent to negotiate with
the monarch. The PK commandos are struck down by the heat and are forced off the
ship. The Draks complete the gestation cycle and leave Moya. The environmental settings
return to normal and Aeryn recovers.
1.4 Throne
for a Loss
Written by: Richard Manning
Directed by: Pino Amenta
Guest Cast: John Adam (Bekhesh), Jeremiah Tickell (Kyr)
Rygel masquerades
as a powerful sovereign (complete with one of Moya's vital components in his "scepter")
in order to impress a group of Tavleks boarding Moya for a bartering session. The
Tavleks kidnap Rygel and take him to the planet surface, but leave behind one of
their own men - and his gauntlet weapon. As Crichton, Aeryn and D'Argo go to the
surface in search of Rygel and the power crystal with which he absconded, Zhaan tries
to help their wounded Tavlek prisoner over the effects of stimulant withdrawal. With
help from the gauntlet, Crichton, Aeryn and D'Argo track down the Tavlek encampment,
but Rygel is gone (and so is Moya's power crystal). As the gauntlet injects its last
drops of stimulant into Crichton's arm, he finds Rygel in the hands of Tavlek leader
Bekhesh. Crichton explains that the group has no riches to exchange for Rygel. Onboard
Moya, Tavlek captive Kyr confirms this for his leader. Rygel is returned and Kyr
is sent back to the planet surface. Moya is again underway - once Rygel can retrieve
the power crystal from his internal "hiding place."
1.5 Back
& Back to the Future
Written by: Babs Greyhosky
Directed
by: Rowan Woods
Guest Cast: John Clayton (Verell), Lisa Hensley (Matala)
Responding to a ship in distress, Moya rescues two Ilanic passengers - Verell, a
scientist, and his beautiful companion, Matala. Since Luxans and Ilanics are genetically
related, D'Argo befriends them both. Meanwhile, after investigating the Ilanic ship,
Crichton starts to experience temporal displacement - momentarily flashing forward
in time. Matala's talents for seduction throw D'Argo off balance and he allies with
her. Verell and Matala reveal their true mission to D'Argo - the field testing of
a new weapon. Crichton continues to experience premonitions and tries to alter the
future -- but no matter what course he follows, the results are disastrous. When
Matala attacks her with a Scorvian Neural Stroke, Aeryn determines that their female
guest is no Ilanic, but a genetically altered Scorvian spy. Crichton learns his temporal
flashes are being caused by Verell's ultimate weapon - a minute particle of a black
hole. Before Matala can rendezvous with an approaching Scorvian ship and hand over
Verell's weapon. Crichton finally finds a course of action that does not end in total
disaster.
1.6 Thank God It's Friday
Again
Written by: David Wilks
Directed by: Rowan Woods
Guest Cast: Angie Milliken (Volmae), Tina Thomsen (Tanga), Ken Blackburn (Hybin)
In a fit of Luxan Hyper-Rage, D'argo leaves Moya for the surface of the planet Sykar.
When the others land to search for him, they find a once technologically sophisticated
civilization now hypnotically laboring in fields harvesting a single crop - Tannot
root. D'Argo has found a home among the workers and does not wish to return to Moya.
While on the planet surface, Rygel's proximity to an explosion convinces him that
he is the subject of an assassination attempt. Aeryn takes him back to the ship,
while Crichton and Zhaan stay behind to try to bring D'Argo home. As did D'Argo,
Zhaan falls prey to the hypnotic effect of the Tannot, while Crichton is rendered
immune - thanks to a worm inserted into his body by members of the naturally immune
Sykaran resistance movement. Volmae, the leader of the Sykarans reveals the vast
warehouse of Tannot root to Crichton - who notices Peacekeeper markings in the complex.
Volmae asks Crichton to use Moya to transport her and a large supply of the root
off the planet. On Moya, Aeryn discovers that Rygel himself was the cause of the
explosion on the planet surface - due to a chemical reaction between the Tannot and
his metabolism. Crichton, with help from the Sykaran resistance and Rygel's bodily
excretions, helps the Sykarans break free of the effect of the tannot. By giving
them the formula to turn Tannot into Chakan oil, and the schematics for the pulse
riffle, the crew of Moya give the Sykarans a means of defense from the tyranny of
the Peacekeepers.
1.7 PK Tech Girl
Written by: Nan Hagan
Directed by: Tony Tilse
Guest Cast: Alyssa-Jane
Cook (Gilina), David Wheeler (Captain Durka), Derek Amer (Teurac), Peter Astridge
(Lomus), Peter Knowles (Evran)
While exploring the dead hulk of the legendary
Peacekeeper Command Carrier Zelbinion, Crichton and Aeryn discover Gilina, a Peacekeeper
Tech assigned to the ship by Crais in hopes of bringing the ship back to life. While
Rygel, who was once imprisoned on the Zelbinion, confronts his fear of his former
torturer, Durka, a ship carrying ruthless Sheyang scavangers arrives to salvage the
Peacekeeper ship. While Crichton and Gilina work together (very closely) to activate
the Zelbinions' defense screens to protect Moya, D'Argo tries to buy time with the
Sheyangs with two talents he lacks - negotiation and bluffing. The Sheyangs grow
impatient and attack, but the Zelbinion's defense screens protect Moya. Gilina agrees
to dismantle a defense screen from the Zelbinion for installation on Moya, but during
the process, a Sheyang attacks. Crichton and Aeryn defeat the Sheyang and repel the
Sheyang ship. They return to Moya, but Gilina remains on the Zelbinion to await her
commander's return.
1.8 That Old Black
Magic
Written by: Richard Manning
Directed by: Brendan Maher
Guest cast: Lani Tapu (Crais), Chris Haywood (Maldis/Igg/Haloth), Grant Bowler (Liko),
Christine Stephen-Daly (Lt. Teeg).
While trying to find medicine for Rygel
on a primitive planet, Crichton finds himself in the ethereal world of the evil sorcerer
Maldis. Maldis, wanting to pit Crichton against his worst enemy, transports Crais'
consciousness to his realm and unleashes him against Crichton. Meanwhile the crews
of Moya and the Command carrier investigate the msterious comatose conditions of
Crichton and Crais' mortal forms. Zhaan trains with a local former priest Liko to
develop her skills to face Maldis while Aeryn and D'Argo unsucessfully attempt to
breach the barriers guarding Maldis' realm. Feeding on the violence, Maldis watches
Crais pursue Crichton and masterfully manipulates them against one another. Crichton
tries to convice Crais of his innocence, but Maldis conjures up images of Crais'
brother Tauvo which only fuels Crais' rage. Working together, Zhaan and Liko manage
to defeat Maldis, but at great cost - with Zhaan awakening the darkest part of herself
- a darkness she worked hard to subdue in the Delvian Seek. Crichton and Crais return
to their mortal bodies and Maldis' existence is dispersed.
1.9 DNA
Mad Scientist
Written by: Tom Blomquist
Directed by: Andrew Prowse
Guest Cast: Sarah Burns (Kornata), Julian Garner (Namtar - Voice), Adrian Getley
(Namtar - Movement).
Namtar, a genetic scientist, has devised a method of
deriving star charts of a species' homeworld by examining a genetic sample of the
species. Crichton, D'Argo, Zhaan and Rygel submit to the examination, but Aeryn knows
she can never return home. Namtar offers the charts in exchange for one of Pilot's
arms and, thinking only of their chance to return home, D'Argo, Zhaan and Rygel meet
the askign price. While D'Argo, Zhaan and Rygel argue about whose home world will
be Moya's first stop, Aeryn returns to Namtar with hopes of finding an outlying Sebacean
settlement out of PK jurisdiction. Consumed by his own depraved experiments, Namtar
injects Aeryn with a sample of Pilot's DNA and begins a frightening metamorphosis.
Crichton learns from Namtar's "assistant," Kornata, that she was once the
researcher and Namtar was but a lab animal. Using genetic science, Namtar has given
himself the best traits of many species on his way to becoming "the perfect
species." With Kornata's help, both Aeryn and Namtar are returned to their original
forms. The star charts useless, Moya's crew is no closer to home than they were when
they arrived.
1.10 They've Got a Secret
Written
by: Sally Lapiduss
Directed by: Ian Watson
Guest Cast: Alison Fox
(Lo'Laan), Grant Magee (Jothee).
While on a routine check of Moya, D'Argo
accidentally tirggers a blast of particles and is ejected into the vacuum of space.
After he is brought back on board, he begins to suffer pre-impreisonment flashbacks,
perceiving each member of the crew as someone from his past. Meanwhile, Pilot collapses
over his console leading the crew to believe the particles are a virus. Upon analysis,
Zhaan learns the strange particles are not a virus, but minute pieces of bio-mechanoid
material sharing Moya's genetic signature. In order to find the source of the particles,
the crew must play their parts with D'Argo andhope his mind will return to thoughts
of the present. The crew learns the true cause of D'Argo's imprisonment - his brother-in-law
killed his Sebacean wife, LoLaan, and framed him for the murder. When D'Argo's memory
is restored, Crichton heads for the source of the particle explosion and finally
discovers the truth behind the mysterious particles and the DRDs' overzealous behavior
- Moya is pregnant. The particles were the catalyst - kept in check by the PK shield
that D'Argo inadvertently shattered. Since the gestation period of Leviathans is
unknown, the crew doesn't know what to expect in the cycle ahead.

(Furlow), Jeremy Sims (Rorf), Jo Kerrigan (Rorg)
Crichton has modified his
Farscape module with some of Moya's spare parts and is researching solar flares with
Aeryn when a small wormhole opens. The module suffers damage and must land at the
Dam-Ba-Da Depot, where local mechanic Furlow begins repairs. While on the planet
surface, Crichton and Aeryn meet two blood trackers (Rorf and Rorg) in search of
Moya's escaped prisoners. Crichton and Aeryn pose as blood trackers in pursuit of
the Fugitives. D'Argo lands on the planet surface to search for Crichton and Aeryn,
but is captured by the blood trackers. To continue his charade, Crichton must inflict
pain on his comrade, but eventually convinces him they are still on the same side.
Meanwhile, while repelling another bounty hunter from Crichton's module, Aeryn suffers
temporary blindness. Crichton helps D'Argo escape, but they are trapped by Rorf and
Rorg. With Furlow's help, Aeryn reprograms the "Wanted Buoy" to convince
the blood trackers that the bounty on the prisoners has been withdrawn. The crew
returns to Moya, but only after Crichton surrenders his wormhole research to Furlow
as payment for the repairs.
