All about Amani !!

Amani Jamila Malaika

This name means Peaceful, Beautiful, Angel.  Amani's name is African.  We chose a name that represented what we saw in her from day one.  We named her when she was about three days old.  Amani is truly a special gift from God, and has the strength in her personality to go far in life.  Our desire is that in all that she does, she makes sure that Jesus is the center of her life.

Amani's Room !!

Amani's walls are decorated in the Noah's Ark theme.   She really enjoys naming her animals and imitating their noises.  We have had a hard time getting her to leave them on the wall, surely they are up there to be played with, not just looked at- how boring !

Amani is very proud of her bed, and the pictures on her wall.  She requests to have her friends come over so that she can have them come and see her room,  Her rainbow and her boat seem to be the favorites, for now.  In this picture she is naming each animal, and making sure that momma knows the correct names.- what a great teacher !
