Even before we started this project we knew that the body would need some real help.  Most of the original bracing was gone and a lot of the body had been repaired with panels that were screwed or pop-rivited in place.  Most of those repairs had broken or rusted out and the body was looking a little like Frankenstein's Monster complete with green complexion and bolts sticking out of the neck.

        Both sides were broken in the same spot and when we lifted the body off the frame it nearly broke in half.
