The Great Worm Heroes: 0 - Great Worm: 0 The fabled Great Worm that roams the Deep Desert. Just one of these gargantuan monsters is big and strong enough to take on a small army. A mature species easily measures 5 feet in diameter and 80 feet in length. Unfortunately, these creatures sometimes tend to travel in groups called Thunder Herds. Such a group is lead by the biggest most powerful worm of the group, commonly named the 'Thunder Herder' or 'Thunder Lord'. These Thunder Lords are towering worms that are about twice as big as the normal Great Worms. The Thunder Lords are in their turn dwarfed by the fabled ShaiHulud. The ShaiHulud is the Godworm, he is the undefeated ruler of the Deep Desert. No one has ever really seen him, except for a few barbarians, but they never lived to tell the tale. However, many a desert-comber has seen the huge tracks that this monstrosity leaves behind. These tracks are so big that four horsemen can ride side by side with room to spare. Furthermore, these tracks are on average 6 feet deep, this only begins to hint at the creature's size and weight.
