Killbugs look like big 2 foot long earwigs with oversized mandibles. They are used by slavers to keep their slaves in check. Killbugs are put on a slave's back where they grab a hold with their six legs. This way, the killbug's mandibles are around the neck of the slave, ready to chop right through it. The strength of a killbug's mandibles is enormous compared to its tiny size and is sure enough to lob off any head with a single cut. Furthermore, killbugs are bred for their semi-telepathic powers, they can sense when you think about escaping and are trained to react in a most fatal way. (If someone tries to escape roll bluff vs. sense motive, if the killbug beats its prey, it immediately commits a coup de grace.)
