Ygdrassil
In the center of the thri-kreen village stands a huge crystal. This crystal holds the strapping twelve foot tall body a huge black mantis warrior. He is the paragon thri-kreen, the ultimate warrior, the death of all foes. The thri-kreen claim that Ygdrassil's soul and spirit still reside within the crystal. It is true that on occasion shimmers can be seen within the crystal and the thri-kreen consider this a warrior's blessing. But whether it is merely a trick of the light or a blessing is left to the interpretation of the beholder.
