Copper Hills
When a rich vein of copper ore was found in the Snakecoil Mountains, a few humans together with a couple of dwarves and brutes set out to work the soon-to-be-fully-operational mine. The settlement grew quickly and lobbyed for its independence from Oasis. When Oasis fell, it was a bit sudden for Copper Hills, but they had their independence. It didn't take to long for the merchant caravan's to be rerouted to Copper Hills and soon it became a small thriving community. The people of Copper Hills are mostly miners, and they like their freedom. Although not really prejudiced, they prefer visitors to be quiet, hardworking and openminded. Unless you happen to be at the Devil's Bar. That's where the regulars prefer you to be sociable, funny and a good drinking buddy.
Copper Hills is led by Sendar, the Sheriff of Copper Hills. When he was younger, he was some sort of an adventurer himself and, according to the town's people, that gave him enough experience to become the sheriff. He will probably be the first person to directly deal with visitors. He's perpetually weary, fairly easygoing, very sociable and always concerned for the welfare of the villagers.
Ehlonna Quillion is a shaman who ministers to the needs of the town. She has been given an elaborate shrine, and is well-liked throughout the town. She will offer anyone free healing and spell support, but won't willingly leave her temple. Although she tries to hide it, Ehlonna is quite prejudiced towards other races.
