The Temple of Nine
First level

This place was originally designed as a battleground, with funnel and walls to divide an enemy army and parapet to take cover. The entryhall is 12 feet high and the battleground is 26 feet high, the temple is green and gives off an eerie green light. The light comes from the cristalfilled etchings that cover the entrance temple.
Today, the entranceway is a breeding ground for scavengers. Keen adventurers can detect a huge slow shadow between the smaller hyperactive ones... right before a huge claw rips their head off. Indeed, the scavengers enjoy the company of the infamous render.
Second level
When you enter the temple, there is a big staircase that spirals down along the wall. At the bottom of the shaft is a single hallway that leads to the room with pattern on the floor.

The eight other passages are traps that fire harpoons. Anyone entering a hallway risks getting scewered by a 5 foot harpoon. (There are pressure plates are 2/3rds down the hallway) Ref DC 20 to avoid, dmg D8+5, counts as a bullrush at +5. (This creates the possibility to hit one other person standing behind the first one.) The harpoons in the 1st, 4th and 7th hallway are no longer operational. To get on from here, the heroes need to find a secret hatch in the middle of the floor (search DC 20).
