Thunderhill fortress is the only thing that keeps this evil at bay. This evil is negative spirit, an evil aura that defiles, kills and devours other spirits and claims their essence as his own. And as it devours, it grows stronger, a lot stronger. Its current foe is the spirit of Thunderhill, a fierce spirit which it hasn't been able to best, just yet. The reason for this is that the (spiritual) source of Thunderhill's essence lies inside the Fortress of Thunderhill. As long as it remains there, the evil spirit of Yaloor cannot defile it. And as long as this essence is protected, the evil of Yaloor cannot extend into the lands past the fortress.
The fortress of Thunderhill houses many fierce barbarians and brave fighters trained with only one purpose, to give their lives for the survival of AranoX. Their struggle is a desperate one, but they hold fast with all the determination they can find. Should the fortress fall, an unspeakable evil will befall AranoX and its inhabitants. Unfortunately, Thunderhill is an isolated place and few people outside of the fortress know of its existence and its importance. All that the Defenders of Thunderhill can do is fight and pray. But their prayers to the Goddess remain unanswered and all the while, their forces are getting smaller and smaller.
