Their are alot of NPCs in the game and they can be intresting, wacky, or just plain stupid. All of them have a reason. This section breaks the NPCs into 3 catogories. The Sims (NOT INCLUDING THE EXPANSION PACKS)

Firefighter The firefighter helps when your house is on... well FIRE. If you have a fire and have a fire alarm in the room, then they will go to the house to put out the fire instantly. If you don't have a fire alarm you have to call them to help get the fire out. This way takes more time and its just easier to use a fire alarm. If you call them and there is no fire. If you do this you can be fined for doing this, which is a really bad idea.

Police The police come when there is a robber. You can use the burgalar alarm or the phone to get them to come over. But you may want to use the alarm because they come in a faster time which helps you out. If you live in the in the middle part of lots, the police may tell you you have your electronics up too loud and they will come over, first time to yell, second time to fine. If you prank them they will also yell at you the first time, and fine you the second time.

Maid The Maid comes to your house to clean it. She is sometimes a waste because it might take two hours to make two beds. She does help though because she cleans alot of the house for you, it just sometimes get expensive. If your house is too big she might not be able to clean the whole house in a day so she'll have to come back the next day. They are sort of a waste but they work sometimes it all depends. I think they are good at times and bad at times so if you have a small house I would hire the maid and if you have a big house in the expansion packs buy a robot.

Gardener If you hire them to water the plants they come every 3 days and help keep your plants nice. I hire them because they work so very fast. They are very worth it.

Repairman He repairs broken objects and toleits and stuff like that. Don't hire because they are very expensive and charge you 50 dollars for an hour. He came over my house once when I didn't hire him and he fixed a light, charging me 50 dollars. Don't get him. Just repair it yourself.

Pizza Man You call him to order a Pizza, he comes over give you a Pizza for 40 dollars, and thats that. He leaves if you dont get the pizza in a hour or so. But thats it. You can steal a pizza, but that is in our cheat page.Check out the cheat page for free pizza cheat

Repoman This is a very mean man. If you don't pay your bills and have a backup of them for 3 sets, their will be a warning. On the next set of bills day, he will come to your house and help pay the bill by taking your stuff. The repoman can make doors so dont lock yourself in the house. Just try to keep him from not coming by keeping up with your bills.

Ghost If someone in your family died and you bury that person in the yard, they might come back in the night to walk around the house. They will scare you if you are up and will walk through walls and stuff. This will scare the crap out of your sims. So make the wee little sims go to bed so they wont be scared of them.
