Review: Meranda's Sim Stuff. |
A quick stop in to Meranda's Sims was in order for me this last weekend. The objects(remember, I'm an object junkie) are ok....several nicely done recolors. They didn't stand out as tremendous finds, but still, a nice addition to my Sim mega-buy mode (at last count I've downloaded over 500 objects). I was happy to see that the site is easy to navigate...A bonus...the text is done large, on a Simple background, so for people like me that are on the computer LATE at night....You'll be able to SEE what you're doing!
Some nice walls and floors, actual ones from Meranda's home. The only downside...You have to have Homecrafter to use them. She is trying to save space on her website. Now, I don't have homecrafter, so I didn't get to download them, but I may eventually get the homecrafter for other space savvy sim lovers, and their great stuff.
Not a whole lot of skins, but some very realistic ones that she's done of her family. Also, you could try requesting a skin from her. She says on her site that you just need to send her a photo and she will try to re-create it into a Sim. Could be fun. I just haven't put a recent picture of myself onto the computer, or else I would have already done it. If you try it, let me know!
She has a few links on her site, with nice easy to read link buttons. Some of the sites are really good ones. Others I have yet to explore.
I'd rank this site as a strong 3+, a little above the "average" thanks to careful details and nice easy navigation. As a Julie's Jewel, this one is a strand of pearls.....classic, towards the basic side, but always appreciated in a jewel collection!
