Review: Wretched Sims. |
Looking for pretty, precious, darling items for your Sims? WRONG SITE! This dark and dismal site is home to some of the funniest and most sinister Sim objects. Ok, I lied a little, there are a few precious items, read on to learn more.
With an easy to navigate site, and plenty of selections, Wretched Sims will keep you very busy. If you're feeling a little down, check out the hate mail, and laugh at the creative ways people blow off steam and hear back from the wickedly funny staff at Wretched Sims.
Only a few skins, of gothic women, but they are very nicely done, and have some nice detailing to them. Would look great walking in to your dark Goth club in the Sims Downtown. Speaking of the downtown, go to the Buy mode for the great bars they have. Nice recoloring, and under surfaces, there are matching counters.
Lots of neat objects. I'm a landscaping Sim junkie as well as object junkie, so I had to stop and download several of their very nice plants, and some great flags. Oh, and check out the garden hose caddy for your wall. We have them, why shouldn't your Sim? These are a definite must see, in order to give your Sims a mini-paradise in their own yard. Be sure to check in the build mode for a great set of windows with matching door....in a nice green with a star-like or maybe floral-ish motif. REALLY nice looking.
Looking for cute? There IS one definite CUTE place to stop. A GINGERBREAD HOUSE! You can download the house under the Houses section(speaking of which, there are some great ones in small, medium, and large sized homes). Objects for the Gingerbread house are under the Christmas Theme. Too fun...I may make an entire Gingerbread neighborhood one of these days....
This site is the motherlode of eclectic paintings. Every patriotic Sim would LOVE to have the 9/11 Memorial angel painting. There is something for everyone, from cartoonish to erotic. I'm a big country music fan, so I HAD to download the Tim and Faith picture for my Sim home. The dragonfly paintings are very nice, and Lord of the Rings fans will love the large movie posters under Themes, in the Movies category. Nice paintings of weaponry can be found in the Medieval section of themes. Sports fans will delight in the many team logos under the Sports Theme. New Agers, or those who chart their signs can stop in to the New Age section for Zodiac wall art.Got Goth? Try the Gothic theme for unusual, exotic, even erotic looking posters. The adult section is a great place to find out if you've been naughty or nice.....I'll let you try to guess which I am.
All in all, this a site that is definitely worth some browsing time. I'd rate it a definite 4, for good items, lots of variety, and easy navigation. As a Julie's Jewel, I'd say this is a diamond studded "dog collar", a bit unusual, but too cool to resist.
