Review: Wretched Sims. |
Wretched Sims is a couple of months old, and a site that I have been coming to since it's opening. I'm here today to review the site and I will start off by telling you that the web site design is very crisp. I always like sites that present high quality graphics, graphics can be hard to do, and these graphics are very nicely done.
Wretched Sims features lots of artists, I think the real shining star here is Wretched himself. His Wretched Column is a great find, and the bars, door and window are nicely done. People that enjoy Theme Sets will also be very happy with this site. Wretched Sims has Lord of the Rings and Goth type themes, among many others. The 9-11 Memorial will tug at your heart.
This site is fairly easy to navigate, the Build section features building type items, while the Buy area will have the objects you can buy in game play. There are sub-menus once you go into these areas, so everything is easy to find.
I'd like to see this site focus a little more on details, mainly shadowing of their objects. I, being an object maker, tend to notice these things more than others would. It's nothing that won't improve over time, I'm sure...but, this is a new site, so this is to be expected. I liked the outdoor plants, I tend to like big, slightly oversized flower buds on those sort of things, so, these will appeal to people who share similar tastes.
The walls and floors sections are growing. The walls have shown a lot of improvement, the floors are still coming along. Most of the designs strike me as Goth in nature, so again, Goth fans will enjoy this.
I will give Wretched Sims a (3) and recommend that you drop by and look around. Sign up and you can even change the colors of the site.
