Review: Mad Bad Celebrity Skins. |
Mad and Bad is the CORRECT name for this site! They advertise celebrity skins but upon taking a closer look they don’t offer much when it comes to the Female Celebrity end – and what they have – not so good. Off colored tones, not realistic looking…I wouldn’t put them in my game. As for the Male Celebrities…again, not much to offer…Brendan Fraser from "The Mummy" and Marc Blucas from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (Riley) are about the only two recognizable skins yet I still wouldn’t waste my time downloading them. Seth Green (also from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" as well as "Austin Powers," etc. etc.) they made a travesty of – as they did the others (check out the horrific "Charlie’s Angels" skins). With their normal skinning, they offer a total of 8 packs…most with just one skin in them so I am not sure why they call them "packs". This site is simply NOT worth the time it takes to click on the link. I can get tattoos and funky hair styles from sites that are of ten times better quality and not have to worry if the mesh/skin was created so that my game doesn’t crash (NO – the items did NOT crash my game but with the low quality of the site I was afraid they would). I am HOPING this site is new because they can’t even do their link page correctly – they only have four links and it is an eyesore. This entire site isn’t even worth giving a rating of 1 to but I must and I will, but ONLY because I do like their Brendan Fraser skin and am HOPING that this is a relatively new site, just STARTING out and WILLING to learn how to skin (or at least get some good skinners to join them). If NOT they should give it up now…perhaps be generous and give their space to a GOOD SIMS site that needs it due to costs. (1)
