If You Walked

If you walked down the street,
What would you see?
Would you feel the breeze on your face,
Feel the wind through the trees?

Would you see the children playing
And smile with remembrance,
of days gone by playing "I-spy"
Within the playground fence?

Or would you stroll, oblivious to all
Along the avenue
Never noticing the wondrous things
Abounding all around you?

Author's Note: This particular poem was a collaborative effort between myself and Lindsey, while we were supposed to be learning Cal II. I don't think it would've made a difference. I think I learned more by ignoring Reed than by listening to him.
