The_Guild	~Yes.~
Alice	~Matila, please lift the ball.~ ~Very good! Okay I am going to picture a series of moves I want to do with the ball. Alice does some quick research to find some common domesticated food animal like a cow which I can access.
The_Guild	~How about a cow?~
Alice	~Okay. Just wanted to make sure they were readily available. Give me a cow.~ ~Okay Natila, feel free to take any memories that the cow might have. Then we get to eat it.~
The_Guild	~Mmrhmph have no memories?~
Alice	~Interesting. Okay, well I guess we just get to eat the flesh and energy. Sorry dear.~ ~Okay, lets feed.~

The_Guild	[It felt like a warm shower, or like the sun coming out from behind a cloud to warm you up briefly.] So you're walking away down the hall.
Alice	Alice is heading out towards a lounge to digest the temporal theory she gathered.
The_Guild	You end up in the same parklounge as before (it being the closest) and sit back to watch the aquamarine clouds scud across the sky.
Alice	[Feel free to concentrate on the others for a bit. Alice is just going to be planning her device.] [Alice is vaguely distracted as she works, playing with Natila.]
The_Guild	Natila seems to be in a playful mood. Memory motes sparkle in your mind's eye, distracting you as she puffs them up and then 'chases' after them through your mind. Unfortunately, the memories are mostly the ones taken from Sianzi, so the odd scream or sudden, brief sensation of fingers digging into you comes and goes.
Alice shivers occasionally and continues her work.
The_Guild	Temporal dynamics are incredibly complicated, but you find a bit of correlation between it and the dimensional building blocks you'd been studying earlier.
Alice	[Okay, Alice starts arranging a learning plan to patch up her knowledge of temporal dynamics. She also wants to generate another seperate learning plan designed to catch her up on information about the guild, important places, modern politics and history etc.]
Alice is starting to feel the need to take some drugs so she isn't downloading new info.

Alice	[guild politics and history first and then propagating out to the "important" dimensions] [She is also looking to see if people like her have already constructed such learning plans before or tricks to speed up processing]
The_Guild	Processing happens as it happens. Most people don't have the retention you do, but there are several cases of such learning plans being created. You're delving into Shargat information with this line of thinking. The learning plans seem quite structured.
Alice	[Okay, she will take into account the learning plans.] [She's also gonna check to make sure that these plans were successful and into the side effects of this process (brain exploding?)]
The_Guild	Learning is learning. The accounts of exploding brains have several reports written proving their unrelatedness to the learning plans.
Alice	[Okay, once she is done the latest batch of processing she is gonna spent some explicit time playing with Natila. She's gonna see if she can work out some games they can play.]
The_Guild	[Natila likes chasing stray thoughts, and you invent a game that has you picturing a memory, and she has to figure out what you've changed about it... whether it's the color of a coat, or whether it was raining or not.]
Alice	[I play for a while and then take out a dose of "medication" from my belt pouch and prep it.] ~Okay Natila, I'm going to be taking something which will make be very happy and dreamy for a bit. Don't worry, the effect is only temporary. This is something I enjoy.~
The_Guild	~Natila-Vv not worried.~
Alice	Okay, I pull out the syringe and inject the drug into the roof of my mouth. [btw, this is a cocaine derivative, very powerful. The effects are euphoria, relaxation, pain killing, hightened sensory input.]
The_Guild	[Were you carrying it?]
Alice	Yeah, I always do in my belt pouch.
The_Guild	Okay.
Alice	[It was one of the only things I brought from Earth.]
The_Guild	[Ah. I didn't think you'd brought it.]
Alice	[No I mentioned that I had some with me I believe. She would always carry some on her in case she couldn't get back to her apartment.] [Not a ton probably. Only 5 or 6 doses.]
The_Guild	[Alrighty.] [It's not a big deal, I just didn't remember.]
Alice lies back enjoys the effects.
The_Guild	A lanky, dark-skinned kid with a mohawk sits down beside you on the couch.
Alice smiles at the kid
Alice	"Hi."
The_Guild	The kid smiles back. His eyes are half closed. "Hey man."
Alice	"hmmm.... You want anything in particular?"
Alice leans back and puts her arms around her stomach.
The_Guild	"Just a place to sit and chill. I figured the girl shootin' shit in her mouth would be good company as any." The young man slouches in his seat, watching the sky.
Alice	"Its are free guild, you can sit where you want. *grin* I don't normally indulge in public but my room here is a bit small."
Alice pulls some fruit out of a bag and starts eating it.
Alice	"You want some?"
The_Guild	"Sure. I'm soooo hungry." He takes a piece of fruit and eats it, sighing rapturously. "That's sooooo good."
Alice	"Yeah, it is isn't it... Dunno what it is called... Grabbed it this morning... ."
The_Guild	He sighs again as he eats the fruit. "So what's your name?" "It's called Sorda, by the way. This red one?"
Alice	"Alice. Alice Whitehouse. *pause* *munch* *pause* *pause* *munch* *munch* *pause* What's yours?"
The_Guild	"Heemu."
Alice	"Oh, nice to meet you... And what do you do here?"
The_Guild	"I deliver mail."
Alice	"Deliver mail? They have mail here? I thought most of that would be done by the Thinkers."
The_Guild	"The Thinkers, yeah. But some stuff is just on paper. And sometimes people just like gettin' mail, you know? It's a pretty easy job though."
Alice	"Cool.... So you are on break?"
The_Guild	"Nah, I only work a couple days a week. I always come here after class to mellow out, y'know?"
Alice	"Class? What sorta class?"
The_Guild	"Y'know... reading, writing, rhythm and blues."
Alice	"Not bad.... School sucks. I always hated it."
The_Guild	"Yeah. It's boring. I dunno what I want to do after I'm done though."
Alice	"Don't get joining a criminal gang...! It's a bad idea."
The_Guild	"Heh. Here at the Guild? With the Thinkers watching? Yeah right."
Alice	"Spooky aren't they. They screw you around much?"
The_Guild	"Nah, not at all. They just don't let people get hurt. Other than that, they stay out of my hair."
Alice cuddles her stomach again.
The_Guild	"You alright?"
Alice	"yeah... just cuddling my new friend."
The_Guild	The teen raises his eyebrows. "Congratulations. I couldn't tell."
Alice	"Only happened yesterday... ."
The_Guild	"And you know already?"
Alice	"Yup! Been talking with her all day. *slightly wicked smile* Why not say hello?" ~Natila-Vv, say hi to tbe boy.~
The_Guild	He looks at you oddly, then laughs. "You had me goin'.... oh." He stops laughing, surprised expression crossing his face. "OOohh. You're not pregnant?"
Alice	"Not really. Just a beautiful little wormy in my belly. She's quite friendly." ~Don't go taking any of his memories now.~
The_Guild	~No no, Natila-Vv is good in happyfloats.~ "A symbiote of some sort, then?"
Alice	"Yeah, her name is Natila-Vv. She's enjoying my recreational chemicals along with me."
The_Guild	"Coooooool..." Heemu is silent for a while, then pipes up again. "Shit."
Alice	"Whats up?"
The_Guild	"Mom's calling me home, I gotta go." Heemu stands slowly, rubbing his eyes. "Hey, it was cool to meet you. If you're interested, a bunch of people are gonna be hanging out down in south storage later tonight, y'know, playin' music and stuff. If you want to come along, that'd be cool."
Alice	"I'll think about it.... ciao for now..."
The_Guild	"Cool. See you around." Heemu wanders off across the parklounge.
