The_Guild	~Natila-Vv practicing what?~
Alice	~Combat training. We need to get better at working together when fighting.~
The_Guild	~Yah, okay. Natila-Vv like fighting.~
Alice	~Confirm a free room with the thinkers~
The_Guild	~A moment later, you know where you can find a free training room.~
Alice heads out.
The_Guild	The room is similar to the training room you were in before. Roughcut stone walls, a padded floor, large and empty with a heavy door that closes behind you.
Alice	~Please display training programs appropriate to my skill level~
The_Guild	A circle of figures appear around the room, each one with a tablet at it's feet. The tablets expand upon your attention, letting you know the program it entails. Each figure seems to represent the opponent. There are physical combat training programs, mental, magical, problem solving, diplomatic, multi-troop field exercises... .
Alice	[Alice selects a program featuring multiple targets in a complex real world environment (like a factory). Focus on dodging.]
The_Guild	The room shimmers and expands, resizing itself to a large factory complex. Mist fills the room, and high above you you hear the quiet tread of feet on a catwalk.
Alice	~Requesting an m5 sub machine gun and a night stick.~ ~let the ammo be fluted expansion rounds~
The_Guild	Done.
Alice	~Natilla-Vv can you attack in any other ways apart from the telekinesis, telepathy, and circulatory shunt?~
The_Guild	~Natila-Vv can focus to hand fighting long bladey.~
Alice	~Really? Okay, lemme see.~ ~Pause simulation~
The_Guild	'See' is really a relative term. 'Feel' would be more accurate, feeling the energy in your palm focusing itself and then stretching out, much like your mind stretched out to Sianzi's.
Alice	[Alice spends a minute getting used to the feel of the blade. Then restarts the simulation.]
The_Guild	~You receive a message, directing you to Conference AD-14 for your first Traveller Orientation.~
Alice	"Fuck!" ~please produce one of the people I would have been fighting right in front of me and hold him still.~
The_Guild	A dirty man with a sawed off shotgun appears in front of you. He spins and raises his weapon.
Alice	Alice fires her submachine gun straight at his head.
The_Guild	He flips backward over the table and lands in a heap.
Alice	"Sorry, I didn't really have time to draw this out." ~End simulation~ "
Alice heads out to the meeting.
The_Guild	You arrive in the midst of everyone. Kol Mnba is there, as are two Shargat wearing grey tunics - one a slight elfin girl with blond hair, the other a solemn grey-skinned dead-eyed chap. Near the end of the table sits the young Eric Gordon, and splayed around the table as well are A red-haired man in brightly colored robes and a large man wearing some sort of uniform and carrying a large sidearm. A few moments later, a small woman dressed in leathers and carrying a small arsenal of steel slips into the room as well.
Alice	~Natilla-Vv, you need to listen to this too. This rules will apply to both of us.~
The_Guild	~Okay.~
Alice	~Natilla-Vv. Would you like to introduce yourself to these people?~
The_Guild	~No... Natila-Vv is shy.~
Alice	~That's okay. Would you like me to say hi for you?~
The_Guild	~.... if Alicenest want to.~
Alice	~No it is okay. I just wanted you to know that you could talk with them if you wanted. *pet*~
The_Guild	~Prrr....~
Alice	~To Do-N with Natilla-Vv's help: Would you like me to do something about the pain?~
The_Guild	~"Naw. I'm kinda enjoyin' it. 'Preciate the offer though."~
Alice is going to contact the thinkers and archive all the information she can get about her co workers. If she can she will run a threat analysis assessment and try and identify good potential allies.
The_Guild	Egistero is from a Clowal dimension: magic and technology but no psionics, Utyo Ogisawa is from a very primitive society, low tech but shamanistic magic and natural psychic powers. Do-N is a pre-travelled shapeshifter, Cluhan is from a Guildforce garrison in a high-tech dimension with very little magic or psi, Gordon is from a high-tech dimension with psi but no magic... .
Alice is reading facial expressions when people mentioned leader
Alice	and trying to mask her own. actually no. she doesn't care if people know she wants to be leader.
The_Guild	Egistero looks excited. Cluhan controlled but expectant, Utyo wary, the two Shargat impassive, though there may be a glint of something in Otsilliw's eye. Lopez seems to frown a bit.
Alice	~To thinkers: can telepathy be used on targets within a dimension when you are in a black insertion state?~ [Oh and I assume language is being handled by the thinkers correct?]
The_Guild	[Yes.] ~Passive scans can occur with difficulty, though Black state prevents invasive telepathy.~
Alice	~To the thinkers: Segment and transmit information of memories and their synthetic generation.~
The_Guild	~The information flows. What in particular were you looking for?~
Alice	~Some way of generating synthetic memories to feed Natilla-Vv or some way of using the small degree of avaiable wall penetration to feed Natilla-Vv. I am also considering using Do-N 's mimic abilities to steal/copy the memories of others.~
The_Guild	Do-N scratches at her arm, and you notice ropy veinlike tendrils quite similar to yours peeking from the cuff of her shirt. You find some modifications for the thoughtball you'd been given that would allow it to capture stray thoughts through the curtain, but that seems to be the most effective method. New studies seem to show that synthesized memories aren't palatable for the Rauka.
Alice	~Will proximity to sentient creatures through the wall help? (ie does it makes sense to hang out near large groups) ~ [Can I make these modifications?]
The_Guild	~Yes.~ [You can try.]
Alice	[Do I need tools or are they telepathic?]
The_Guild	[It seems like it would be psychic surgery for the most part, but there are some unidentifiable machinations that you can't immediately decipher.]
Alice	How is Ostilliw coping with Lopez's analysis? (Alice is assuming that he is doing that.)
The_Guild	Coping? She seems to be unruffled. Quite at an equilibrium. What do you think of Do-N's questions?
Alice	[by portraying herself as brash and violating the rules she gives herself a perfect cover. Now when she breaks an important rule it won't hurt her image. Otherwise they seem fair. Alice mistrusts her but then she mistrusts everyone.] [Alice is willing to share her past for a similar reason. By showing that she has nothing in her past that is really that dangerous, people will think that she is honest.]
The_Guild	[Who do you mean is portraying herself that way?]
Alice	~Ostilliw: Do you know my situation with the Rauka and my need to acquire memories?~
The_Guild	~Yes.~
Alice	~Currently my plan is to modify the thought orb I was given to absorb memories through the wall, but I would appreciate any input you might have on the subject.~
The_Guild	~You don't have the dimensional engineering background to accomplish it.~
Alice	~You do though correct?~
The_Guild	~Yes.~
Alice	~Can you help me do it? I am a quick learner.~
The_Guild	~I will do it for you, but I won't teach you.~
Alice	~Can I watch how it is done?~
The_Guild	~No. You don't have the proper senses to do so.~
