Logging Do-N to 'logs\Do-N.Chatsociety.net.log'
The_Guild
There aren't really any 'rich and famous' among the nations, and nothing you would consider depravity, very little, even, of sex.
Do-N
How very, very boring... I guess I'm not likely to find any good porn to read then. :(
Do-N looks to see what they do for fun.
The_Guild
Their fun consists of festival days - dancing and food, games and sports. Competitions of magic for the elves, and craftsmanship for the humans and dwarves.
Do-N also tries to read a book, just to know if she can.
The_Guild
You manage to focus on the first page of a book entitled "Yeggud's Cookbook."
Do-N
[How do the basic commodities look around here? What do they use for currency/barter? Any valuable contrabands?]
The_Guild
Silver and copper for regular transactions in the human communities, gold and silver in the dwarven communities, and the elves use a sort of enchanted wooden nickel. Inter-racial trading is mainly through logging, Manite mining and other metals, fish and game, and technology from the humans.
Do-N
[How 'bout illegal trade?]
The_Guild
It looks squeaky clean. The races don't trust each other enough, and intraracial trading is very open. There don't seem to be any drugs at all.
Do-N considers the logistics of bringing them opium.
The_Guild
Other than breaking interdimensional trade laws, you can't predict how opium would be translated into this world. It may have the same effect, and it may not.
Do-N
[So, probably the easiest way to get money is to trade tech that we stole during research?]
The_Guild
Or to find some unguarded money and take it. Since everyone is so trusting it might not be that hard to just... rob someone.
Do-N
[Yeah, but they'll immediately suspect the new outsiders... still it seems to be the main angle.]
