Lopez	Sure
The_Guild	When last we left our intrepid cyborg, he was hanging out in his newly redecorated room, wondering what to do.
Lopez	Need something to read..I know if I can go to the library i want to look up a keyword search involving "Void" "Minions of" and "Technological Detection"
The_Guild	The Library is a dimly lit room filled with bookcases, couches, chairs, fireplaces and tables. There are surprisingly fewer books in the room than you would expect. When you use the Index Book to look up Void, you find a number of tomes and guidebooks to peruse.
Lopez	and refining my search using the other two keywords?
The_Guild	There are two books, one a large, musty tome about three feet wide by three feet high, and another is little more than a five page pamphlet.
Lopez	I take the two books back to a table and sit and start reading...starting with the phamplet and just reading till they either a) close or b) kick me out
The_Guild	The pamphlet you read through quickly. It's very general, more of like a "So you want to know about Void" handout. The tome devotes an entire three pages to the subject, including engravings of a medieval sword with a spiky crossguard, tinted entirely, utterly black.
Lopez	anything about technological detection of Void creatures or minions or henchmen?
The_Guild	The pamphlet notes that there are various methods of detecting Void, most having to do with digravitational ripples and fourth dimensional fatigue. As advanced as your home is, this seems beyond even that. The musty tome gives far simpler examples of technological and mundane detection, including a ritual that requires the blood of a moose to be spilled on a certain night of the lunar year.
Lopez	anything my sensors can pick up?
The_Guild	You figure you could pick up some hints of hints, but not with any sort of reliable accuracy. Testing it out over half the room might or might not be Void.
Lopez	maybe I can get it calibrated in the future...I make a note of it my PDA wel now that i've got that out of the way...I'm going to get a drink.
The_Guild	Where will you go? Comestibles? Since you know where Comestibles is, you head in that direction, especially since it's only one archway away. You enter a room of the same mammoth dimensions as the Library you just left, only much better lit. It is filled with lines of tables and chairs, with all manner of people eating and talking.
Lopez	I head over to where the food is
The_Guild	There is no food, but you notice that there are waitstaff going from table to table, taking orders and bringing out food.
Lopez	Ok well I sit down at an empty table and wait
The_Guild	You sit down and soon a waiter comes along, a short fellow covered in orange and brown fur, and three nubs on his forehead that look vaguely like cut-off horns. "Heyo, what can I get you, big guy?"
Lopez	7 Kg of Red Meat cooked but Rare 8 Kg of complex carbohydrates...Rice or noodles will do...and 3.6 Kg of green leafy Vegtables...lightly cooked. adn 3.5 Liters of water.
The_Guild	The little guy writes everything down on his (unfurry) palm, then nods. "You got it!"
Lopez	Thank you.
The_Guild	He goes off. While you're waiting, two young women join your table, one brown haired, the other thin and blonde.
Lopez	Good...day? or evening...my apologies my interal clock calander isn't reset yet
The_Guild	The waiter comes back with your food, all piled on a large tray he carries over his head. "Here you go!" He then goes over to the other women, inquiring as to their tastes.
Lopez digs in eating but not stuffing his face...and waits for the young ladies to say anything.
The_Guild	The blonde smiles slightly and nods. "How do you do?"
Lopez	Fairly well...I arrived just several hours ago...I've been trying to get adjusted...not too hard...I'm kinda used to this multi-racial atmosphere
The_Guild	The brunette orders just about everything on the breakfast menu.... The brunette then turns to you as the short waiter takes the blonde's order. "I think it is morning," she says.
Lopez	I see...not that it matters too much...I don't really keep regular hours
Lopez smiles faintly at them
The_Guild	The brunette says "You are new here as well? I only arrived here a few days ago."
Lopez	yes...my Guide? liason may be the right word Mr. Clairune and I arrived several hours ago...I extend my hand to each of them in turn My Name is Eric Gordon,,but my friends can associate call me Lopez
The_Guild	The blonde puts her hand in yours, letting you shake it, the look on her face suggesting that she is unfamiliar with this tradition. "I am Sianzi Bibobu." The brunette reaches across to shake your hand, but hesitates for a second...
Lopez	nice to meet you.
The_Guild	... then takes your hand and shakes it.
Lopez	[can i give them both a quick scan? thermal and X-ray?]
The_Guild	[The brunette seems like a regular human female, but her body temperature is a couple degrees warmer, and she seems to have some sort of... infestation. A large multi-tongued wormlike thing lies just beneath her skin. You notice now that you can actually see the tracks of it's tendrils wrapping around her arms. The blonde is humanoid, but not human.]
Lopez	BTW what happens when my psionic Dampeners activate?
The_Guild	Uhhh.... HUD message?
Lopez	ok
The_Guild	:)
Lopez	Pergnant? or is it the worm?
The_Guild	She doesn't seem pregnant. If she is, it's VERY early stages. What is Lopez thinking?
Lopez	Odd girl but likable...some of his best friends had symbiotes...he's not worried. What did the Symbiote do when Alice got agitated? Did my hud warning go off?
The_Guild	Nope. The psychic dampeners are for your protection only, so they're only activated if something happens within your aura.
Lopez	ok To Sianzi "let all your fear and anxiety drain down your arm and into my hand..squeeze as thightly as you need to...you won't hurt me..let it all flow though you past you and out your hand
