~Query: Reasons Subject Do-N may be Agitated?
The_Guild
~Do-N is worried about effects of Translation.~
Lopez
~Understood...Is there anything Phsyically One should be concerned about?~
The_Guild
~Translation is a standardized procedure that carries minimal risk.~
Lopez
~understiid~
I Try and WIll myself toward Alice
I Try and Will myself away from Alice
ANd I extend my hand a picture a soft glowing ball hovering over my hand
The_Guild
A soft glowing ball appears over your hand.
Lopez
I look downwards to teh points of light that are Alice and Do-N and will myself to move toward them at the pace of a jog
The_Guild
The points of light don't seem to move.
Lopez
Ok I spent a lot of time on space stations so my window that I'm comfortable with will most likely be a futuristic Port-hole or something like that
The_Guild
On your second attempt, that futuristic port-hole appears before you.
Through the porthole, the blackness fades away, and you find yourself looking down from very high upon a wide green vista, cut through by several rivers which flow to the edge of the circle, and with a range of mountains in the upper right corner.
Lopez
Cool
The_Guild
The mountains are wonderful, and the view from them, even seen through the window, is breathtaking. You find a couple small communities of short, stocky dwarven people, tending hardy breeds of mountain goats and ponies, and you also find several cave entrances, which seem to be well travelled.
Lopez
I attempt to Zoom in
The_Guild
Zoom in where?
Lopez
On to one of the Dwarves for a closer look
The_Guild
The dwarves are dwarves. Short, stocky, bearded and gruff. There are several smithies in the village, where the dwarves are busy making weapons. They seem to be using an odd alloy of metal and some sort of light blue crystal.
Lopez
Interesting I now just sort of Drift around with the lens looking at this or that until the next bit of teh tutorial comes up
The_Guild
Did you want to go into any of the mines?
Lopez
Sure
The_Guild
The mines are pitch black, but that doesn't seem to affect you. It is deep, and you pass several offshoots, but eventually reach a cavern in which a large dwarven city lies.
Lopez
Facinating
The_Guild
Here the light blue crystal is much more prevalent. Strips of it are used to light the streets, and the forges appear to be using it as a source of incredible heat.
Another window appears nearby, pictures of autowriting pens and self-mobile carts flickering past. Closer inspection also shows traces of the light blue crystals.
Lopez
Do my sensors work properly in this state...I try to get a heat reading off them?
The_Guild
The ones in the gadgets don't give off heat, no.
Lopez
and the Raw ones?
The_Guild
No. Only the ones used in the forges.
Lopez
Ok...I Try making another window this one back on the surface in the plains
The_Guild
You suddenly grasp the concept of creating and controlling windows, and there you are, in the plains.
Lopez
Woo!
can I relay my thermo-graphic and X-ray data to teh others at all?
The_Guild
You can try.
Lopez
I give it a go
~pulling up all sensor data on crystals Chemo-visual macro-telescopic to get close to them the whole suite
The_Guild
Pure Manite? Alloy? Used in a device?
Lopez
Raw
Then Alloy then Device
The_Guild
Raw has no chemovisual, nothing of note on macro-telescopic. It's like, from close up, it's not really there.
The alloy seems to be an incandescent version of the original metal, and the crystal in the device takes on the properties of the device.
Lopez
Interesting and relay the data
