The Lazarus Trials
Shargat researchers spent many millenia attempting to resurrect the dead without supplication to an Elder God. After years of failure, Torasin VonExis became their first crude success, with the added boon of virtual immortality bestowed upon him. Further refinement has happened over the millenia since that first rebirth, and an entire branch of development has stemmed from the unintended results of that first success.

The VonExis Project
Capitalizing on the information gleaned from the first successful Lazarus Trial, the (still ongoing) VonExis Project studies and refines the effects of undiluted Divinity upon higher order constructs. While enhancements within rulesets has been accomplished, the creation of original rulesets is still in its beginning stages.

Divinity Filters
One of the most useful products of the VonExis Project thus far is the Divinity Filter. Alteration of a ruleset prior to the genesis of an Awareness can sometimes result in a connection to the Font of Divinity which is then at the beck of the Awareness so bestowed. The Filter alters this pure energy into a useable form - most commonly as physically regenerative properties, magical energy or an unquenchable soul.

Rauka Symbiote
A new symbiote was recently discovered, inhabiting rare Boreon monkeys in the Holmzfrut Dimension. Preliminary tests reveal it grants the host a plethora of psychic abilities, including high grade telepathy, telekinesis and invisibility. In exchange the Rauka Symbiote consumes memories, either from victims or from the host itself. Although Boreons were originally the only viable hosts for the Rauka, Shargat are now testing a theory that a small amount of modification should allow the Symbiote to entwine with humanoids.

The Harvester Experiments
After the original Harvester was destroyed, Shargat endeavoured to recreate the powerful being by training and enhancing the original Harvester's progeny. These infamous trials resulted in the destruction of fourteen of the seventeen spawn of the Harvester before advances in Degenesis prompted the cessation of the Harvester Experiments.

Degenesis
A program running parallel to the Harvester Experiments which took a different direction in the quest to create a new Harvester. Using advances in Divinity Filter research and combining it with experimental protodimensional recursive storage procedures the Shargat were able to create a being of more specialized capacity toward Harvesting. It was these early successes that allowed Degenesis to continue, while the Harvester Experiments were cancelled. Degenesis eventually culminated into the creation of the Harvester being known as Seth.
