Traveller
Travellers are the explorers and repairers of dimensions. They are the first to enter newly discovered dimensions and observe them, reporting back on their findings. In some cases, Travellers act under a strict code of non-intervention, but many times are permitted to blend into native society to further study their movements. As well, Travellers are constantly scouting for potential antidimensional threats for which the populace of a dimension may be unaware of, and incapable of defending themselves against. If such an incident should occur, Travellers may be authorized to lead a Guildforce contingent in order to protect the dimension from these threats.
There are three action states for the Travellers:
- Black Traveller
Black Travellers travel separately from the dimension, taking no part in it, observing from polarized semi-dimensional space. This is the state in which initial exploration is accomplished, as it does not depend on the Traveller's ability to interact with the world, thereby preventing unintentional BQE until it has been determined that the presence of the Traveller will not upset a too-delicate balance.
- Grey Traveller
Grey Travellers blend in with whatever society there is, but again, don't meddle except for circumstantial things such as data collection. The Traveller does not reveal any contradictory abilities, though they may use them sparingly if detection is avoidable.
- White Traveller
White Travellers have open authorization for any action. Sometimes they act like Grey Travellers, but generally can do whatever they like. White Travellers sometimes attain high positions of power in a society while using their abilities, sometimes pose as Gods or prophets and the like, sometimes appear, defeat a menace and disappear. This state is generally called for in times of pressing dimensional threat.
Travellers work under the Emissaries, and are of an equal rank to Guildmasters.
