| INPUT: Well, other than noting Daniel Ash using an Ebow and playing a 1972 Fender Telecaster, I'd have to say I have more inspirations than influences. In no particular order, they are: Bauhaus(and all of its offshoots, with the exception of Dali's Car), Sisters of Mercy, Siouxsie and the Banshees, David Bowie (pre-1980s), Iggy Pop, Elvis up through the 1968 comeback special, Mozart, Beethoven, Strauss, Louis Armstrong, Adam and the Ants (yeah, I know, but I looked great in the make-up!), Echo and the Bunnymen, Psychedelic Furs, Killing Joke, Executive Slacks, Sex Pistols, The Clash, Metallica, John Mellencamp(seriously the best American songwriter ever), Wire, tons of late 70s and early 80s British punk singles, Buzzcocks, The Cars, PIL, later Sonic Youth, Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Jesus and Marychain, Velvet Underground(Nico), NIN, M-Fakter, Loco Lizard (hot chick bassist, oh wait...), Rolling Stones, Beatles, Doors, ZZTop, Falco, Spit, any well-written classic rock or pop song, including disco.(A good song is a good song). I really dislike rap, Prince, Courtney Love, Red Hot Chili Peppers, all nu-metal, r&b, Madonna and Axl Rose. Also a long list of other crap must die but I digress...... |

Law & Order, anything from Steven Bochco (escept Cop Rock!), ER before George Clooney left, St. Elsewhere, Black Adder, The Young Ones, Monty Python, Discovery Channel, History Channel, 60 Minutes. Now I'm addicted to Blind Date, Love Connection, any dating show like that. I know, I'm going to Hell! Other than that, I despse reality TV specifically and TV in general. |
