Desperation

Captain Kathryn Janeway had the wrong equipment. 
 
How ridiculous it was for success to depend solely on one tool. Though highly 
specialized, it came in a wide variety of sizes and colors, and even a few 
different shapes—yet she could not fabricate one that would do the job to his 
specifications. 
 
It was so damned frustrating! 
 
She put her scientific brain to work on the problem and mentally ran through 
scenario after scenario trying to find a workable solution. Eventually though, 
she gave up. 
 
The truth was: Chakotay would never want her. 
 
After all, she didn't have a dick.
