Organization Plan

An organization chart defining the organization structure and the responsibilities of various functionaries affecting quality should be prepared.

Level 1 - Top Management -- Policy decisions andd system.

Level 2 - Middle Management/Departmental Heads--- Design of products and systems to help achieve the set targets.

Level 3 - Supervisory -- Primarily achieving shoort-term goals of the organization.

In keeping with the delegation of responsibilities in the organization chart, the authority for raising, approving and reviewing documents may be as under:

Level 1 - Top Management -- Quality policy/qualiity manual.

Level 2 - Departmental Heads -- Quality procedurres.

Level 3 - Supervisors -- Work instructions/drawiings.
