Central Consumer Protection
Council is formed under the consumer protection act. to strengthen the consumer
against the mischief faced by them. Following prevention acts are described
here under:
- Privilege of safety: - Against the marketing of harmful/ disastrous/
lethal goods.
- Privilege to know: - Privilege to know about quality, quantity,
purity, and price of the goods, just to prevent consumers from unfair
trade practices.
- Privilege to choose: - Every consumer has right to choose the goods
after knowing about the purchase.
- Privilege of hearing: - Every consumer has granted permission to hear
the consumer court, and the court will hear the consumer simultaneously.
- Privilege of "solution": - Due to wrong judgments/policies consumer can file
the suit against the vender in consumer court just to protect him self.
