Proper Steps to Induction

Who: Inductees
When: Saturday
Where: S101, Events Building (Lobby, Theater and Atrium)
Step 1: Proceed to membership table outside S101
  1. Sign official roster. Follow Induction staff's direction.
  2. Recieve 2 index cards and pen.
  3. Print Name in block letters. Print your name as you would like it announced. Underline last name.
  4. Recieve membership folder (contains membership certificate and program).
Step 2: Proceed to "Robing Area" in S101
  1. Give robe manager one (1) of the index cards
  2. Recieve your robe
  3. Line up when Induction Staff according to their directions
Step 3: Proceed to the Auditorium Stage. Follow the officers and please obey induction staff.
Step 4: Be seated on the auditorium stage.
Step 5: Follow the printed program
  1. Repeat Inductee oath
  2. Give index card to adminstration or advisor
  3. Proceed to across stage to recieve your white rose
Step 6: Turn on candle when directed to do so.
Step 7: Sing as a group the "Phi Theta Kappa Official Song" (this will be printed in the program).
Step 8: Turn off the battery powered candle
Step 9: Leave stage as directed. Return the candle as you leave.
Step 10: Return robe and go to south end of the Events lobby for the reception.
