	“If you have to lose, lose playing the best that you can play. Then there is no reason to feel bad about your loss.” These are the words straight from head coach Henry Basiden. The girls tennis team has gotten off to a slow start this year but they are looking to come back in the second half of the season. After starting 0 and 2 in league and 0 and 3 overall the girls as a group are still looking very good. To turn the program around and start winning they don’t have to do much. All they have to do is start playing the same way they practice. Once they do this they will be fine. Coach Basiden is looking forward to a “very productive season.”       This year the team doesn’t necessarily have a key player, which is why all the top nine players on the team are so important. They have worked very hard to prepare themselves for the season. But their team wouldn’t be complete without the lower nine players. They work just as hard as the top nine to do to prepare themselves.       So come watch the girls serve up aces as they battle their tough opponents in the second half of the season.
